If long hours on the PC leave you with chilly fingers (or you work for an Ebeneezer who won't allow you even one more lump of coal for the fire) - you can check out this hand-engulfing, USB powered, dolphin-shaped mouse pad from the fine folks at Thanko which will warm, at least - your mouse controlling hand. I'm afraid you'll have to become mouse ambidextrous if you don't want your non-dominant hand to suffer.
I am less worried, however, about my left hand than how one manages to use one of those without alarming the office every so often with theatrically panicked shouts of "Help! Help! It's eating my hand." (Those of you who are thinking of answering either, "tact," "decorum" or "for Heaven's sake you're not five years old" have clearly never met me in person.)
