Thanks to iFreq and its like, now you can have music wherever you go - yes, even in your clapped out old car with its non-MP3 playing radio. The iFreq has solely been designed for use within cars, although the jury's still out on whether this counts as "pirate radio" or not, so you may want to wait on the official word from Offcom before you rush out and buy one. When you do, you just plug the transmitter into your iPod to listen to all your music through the car stereo. The transmitter itself is stored inside the connecting cable so you have minimal wires. It's compatible with all iPods but only has a cradle for the 1GB version. However, a universal cradle will appear in November, which isn't that long a wait really. Price is £39.99
