I've spent as much time as I possibly can with Elvis, my beagle, teaching him to return balls I chuck. Sadly, he's a Nintendog, so success depends on software, rather than a great relationship between (wo)man and dog. But, on the upside, I do think I'm ready to graduate to the real thing.
