If your cat is anything like my fat black monster Bester, he grows ten extra paws when you try and get him into his cat carrier, or he runs away and you have to drag him kicking and screaming from the Wood between the Worlds he's discovered in back of the closet. Well, now MeowMe has come up with a new device to help Kitty cope. The Sleepypod is a heated pet bed which can be zipped up and used as a carrier; the theory being that your cat or small dog will be familiar with the Sleepypod and won't object to being zipped in. we do the low-tech version-- our cats sleep in their carry cases (with the doors off, obv.) and so aren't bothered about getting in them to go to the vet.
