The Actroid DER2 is a girl robot who loves Hello Kitty, has a number of facial expressions, and can be yours to rent for 5 days to the tune of $3,500. Does that mean the job of loving Hello Kitty is being outsourced to the robot workforce? (Heaven forbid!)
As to why you'd want to rent an animatronic woman with a Hello Kitty t-shirt for 5 days..that's something I'd really rather not speculate upon.
