Another of Philips crazy concepts from their Simplicity event was their light therapy bowl. If you ever wondered how Judy Jetson kept her youthful looks, wonder no longer - it was nothing to do with her being a cartoon character. It was down to some serious light therapy.
We witnessed a bowl being filled with light (different colours according to the state of your skin) whilst women dipped in their head to feel the full benefits of the light rays. There was even a pen for trouble spots, which would emit UV rays and fix up spots. Whether we'll ever see this in our bedrooms remains to be seen. I hope so - it looks more fun than good old soap and water.
