I wasn't the only one at the Philips Sense & Simplicity event. Susi was there too, and this time it was my job to hold the camera while she recorded a quick preview of these Philips Living Colour lights. Using the colour remote you can change the colour of your lights on a whim, and because they use LEDs, they're environmentally friendly and cool to the touch. They're launching in Spring for around €130-€150.
These are kind of similar to the MoodMix that I popped up on the site last year. Back then, they were still one of Philips's many concept products, so it's nice to see them appearing for sale. And those Chameleon lamps I also wrote about last year were on display again this year - though sadly still in the concept area rather than the "real products" area. I'm not sure who will actually use them but I like that they exist in the world. Think you'd want lights like these in your home?

but it begs the question- why would one spend so much on merely changing the colours of the walls? seems a little useless :P
Have you seen the cost of paint?
I love it! Changing colors every moment, just the way I feel. Give me four of these Living Colors and I make my living home beautiful. And for my boy friend: .....
this would be nice for our bedroom ;-p
