More bags for the larger laptop lady

Diamonds? Nope. Every twenty first century girl knows a laptop is her best friend. And who says size doesn’t matter? Laptops are getting bigger. The current generation have whopping 17” screens. But what about those times when you need to take it to the office, or to a meeting? There’s always the hideously unstylish carrier bag option, plenty of them, zero cost. A rucksack ? Maybe not: looking like you’re about to go on a fifty mile hike is never advisable.

So what’s a girl to do? First up is Waterfield Design’s Cosmo which comes in a variety of girl friendly colours and is ideal for toting a widescreen laptop around, with its “weightless suspension” shoulder strap it it’s both practical and stylish. Plus, it’s a very reasonable $149

Next up is the supremely stunning Mobile Edge Large Faux Croc Portfolio. As the name suggests, this gem is made of faux crocodile skin, and will fit larger laptops with ease. It’s a perfect unity of form and function, and cheap with it, at just $59.

Vy and Elle’s Laptop Briefcase whilst undeniably practical it doesn’t get it quite right in the style stakes. It looks a touch too masculine and a bit dated really. Not such a great choice for the more fashion forward amongst you. At $187 it’s not the cheapest out there either.

Last, but by no means least, France and Grace have some very classy looking bags; the Ives is a sassy yet functional confectionary of bows and candy colours, oh and the most expensive of the lot at $379. Ouch.

So, no need for the plastic bags after all, girls, there’s plenty of funky, fun and practical bags out there, it’s just a case (no pun intended) of finding the right one for you - and your laptop.
