They're always looking for the coolest of the cool over at Brandish, and trying to pretend that it's aimed at the smart young men of the world doesn't stop us from sneaking a peek. They've today uncovered the Discreet Sound System, which is designed to not only deter muggers by not making your white headphones so obvious, but keep you more alert to hazards such as traffic, since there's no earphones plugging up your ears. In fact, it uses bone conduction technology to transmit the music (which is why you need the hat or headband to keep them pressed to your head). The designer, Reece Myers, is looking for a manufacturer to get going on it now, so start your petition.
