Archos mentioned their upcoming WiFi plans in the video after the jump, filmed at IFA, but have now officially announced it to the rest of the world. It's the upgrade from the 604 version, which features a 30GB hard drive and 4.3-inch colour touch screen LCD, along with an optional DVR Station accessory that turns the 604 WiFi into a portable Digital Video Recorder (DVR). The WiFi element means that you can surf the web, check emails, access files from a remote network, and soon, with the help of their upcoming PodCatcher software, collect podcasts without going near a computer. All that, and it plays music and photos too. It'll be with us next month, although no word on cost.
