Not only is this iPod a very fabulous shiny red but it's also got plenty of the good cause points. Oprah Winfrey and Bono have been out and about in Chicago supporting its release and promoting the importance of raising money to fight AIDS in Africa. As for the specs, it's a 4GB second generation model (that's 1000 songs and 25,000 photos).
In the US it's priced $199, $10 of which will go to the cause. Here in the UK, the powers that be are a little more hazy about how much they'll donate from the £129 purchase price. Fess up, Apple UK!
There are also plans for donations to be made from the $25 iTunes Red gift card too.
