Aduki Ni, the Metallic Lights

No, it's not yet another collection of multicoloured mice: these are, in fact, a collection of multicoloured lights. Just don't leave one lying on your desk, though, or you may get confused...

Aduki ni (Nope, I have no idea what that means, although I do know that all the best gadget-type things have strange sounding names) can be used either indoors or outdoors, and the plastic coating is splash-resistant, so if you do decide to take them into the garden, you don't need to worry about sudden showers. The exterior colours are mostly for show: once switched on, the lights will gently phases their way through a range of different colours. They're £40, will last for 6 - 8 hours before you need to recharge them, and a charger is supplied with each light.

Near as I can figure the name means "Bean 2" in Japanese. Aduki is a kind of red bean that is more properly transliterated as azuki, or as a close second adzuki. Ni means 2 in Japanese.

Is this product from Mathmos?

Ah, I was hoping someone would come along and translate - thanks, Christian! And yes, they are a Mathmos product...
