Yay or Nay: The PelvicToner kegel exerciser

Comments (5)

Pelvictoner_1 In a rare case of a gadget looking remarkably exactly like what it is designed for, the PelvicToner is a kegel exerciser intended to tone the pubococcygeus muscle.  According to the distributor, 4 out of 5 women, who did 300 reps per day with it (taking only 5-10 minutes) experienced significantly better orgasms.  But don't just take their word for it: register for the survey with Amora and participate in the G Spot Challenge, which gets you the PelvicToner for ¬£20.  What say you, ladies?  Would you use this?  Post in comments!  [GT]

Being a guy I won't be using it, but being well acquianted with the effects of Kegels I encourage ****ALL**** women to do them, whether you use the exerciser or not. The exercise not only increases the intensity (and length) of the orgasms, it makes them easier to achieve, and makes a significant portion of women multi-orgasmic that weren't before. Oh yeah, and it feels better for the guy(s) too.

The only concern is if you do a lot of Kegels and you're with a guy (or an appendage of any kind, even silicone) that is of especially notable size it may actually be painful since you can actually become a snugger fit then you ever were before (even the first time).

Good lord no, looks like torture!

As for orgasms, couldn't men just try harder instead of leaving it up to women to improve the experience. No, I suppose not.

CamillaC: How can one experience, if one cannot first experience themselves? Great sex requires partners who understand eachother, but if the respective individuals do not first understand themselves, then the full potential of any experience cannot be reached.

This tool can help women better experience themselves and is not meant as a means for some sort of one-way-responsibility role, as you implied.

Communication with the Self and partner are key to great sex, and both sides have equal responsibility in the experiencing of it.

Good heavens, that thing is..frightening? Intimidating? Is such a thing really necessary? Not to go all Vogue magazine on everyone, but I was under the impression that kegel exercises could be done without the benefit of exterior assistance.

As for the question of whether or not I'd use it: I don't see myself ever purchasing one, but if someone were to gift me one of these (what gift-giving ocassion might that be appropriate for, do you think?) I think I'd be curious enough to try it at least once or twice. But long term use? No way. I can't even get down to the gym; and the machines there are much less invasive.

ooh- scary! Yes Star, I agree- we can do them without if necessary!
Joe, there are other reasons besides a man's pleasure that women might need to do Kegels - after childbirth, stress incontinence... etc. Then something like this might be useful, I guess...? x
