Surround sound involves many hours of listening to fight scenes from Lord of the Rings at full volume, carefully moving one of many speakers an inch to the left or right in order to fully experience Frodo's exploits. Unless you've got the new KEF fiveTwo speakers, which give the impression of having five different channels in two speakers. Less wires, and less hassle, and allegedly the same sound.
