Not only is this speaker unusually creepy looking, with an updated resemblance to someone's grandmother's napkin holder from the 50s (or beyond), it appears to only have been half-painted, since the top is a strange primer gray. However, the HipPop Pet "Owl" (apparently not even trusting themselves to declare unreservedly what species they've loosely based their invention on) is actually a speaker, requiring 3xAAA batteries. Also, it dances, and its face "will light up in a multitude of coloured lights". As, I daresay, will yours. £13.50. [GT]
