This 3MP digital camera from Hammacher Schlemmer (due out later this week) is designed to connect to your keychain so you can have a camera handy at all times. (It almost seems funny in this day and age when it seems everything we carry takes photos, but I can't tell you the number of times I've kicked myself for running across something strange and wonderful without having either my digital camera nor my cameraphone with me.) The camera, which operates on one AAA battery, takes still photos at 2560 x 2048 resolution, video at a frame rate of 320 x 240 (up to 100 seconds of footage) in video mode, and 640 x 480 resolution for PC mode. It has 8MB of RAM, which might be enough to get you by if you use it as an emergency backup camera, but also has an SD slot for additional memory in case you want to make this your all-the-time camera.
