I know that I should be in better contact with my friends and relatives abroad thanks to services like Skype. I'm not, but now it's purely down to my laziness, rather than any inhibiting call charges for calling internationally. Now Jajah are trying to show me up even more, with the launch of their Mobile Suite, which promises to save you up to 86% on your international calls from your mobile phone. All you have to do is go to their website, or send them an SMS and they'll send you a plug-in for your mobile for free. It works with all models, everywhere, so there really is no excuse.
As an example, they reckon a 10 minute call from London to New York with the Jajah Mobile Suite will cost £1.10, compared to £12.90 with Vodafone, £1.50 with Orange, £7.00 with T-Mobile and £9.90 with O2. You save more if the person you're calling has the plug-in as well, but to clear up any misunderstanding, the cost is displayed to you before you make the call.
So, more money for shoes and DSLite games then...
