There are no bones about it - the Creative Vision W looks good. Really good. It's a 30GB media player which has a 4.3" screen in a 16:9 format, so you can actually watch movies on it without getting the mother of all headaches. It's also got a Compact Flash slot, so that you can transfer your photos straight from your camera, which is a great idea as long as you buy the adaptor to fit your alternative memory card into the slot. It takes MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4-SP, MJPEG, DivX 4 and 5 and XviD formats, and will get you 4.5 hours of video playback. Finally, there's an FM radio, and it supports subscriptions services, so you can pay a monthly sum to someone like Napster and get all you can eat music, so to speak. Blimey. The only possible downside is that it does look like a bit of a brink from the photos - we'll review one soon and let you know. Pricing is the be confirmed this week, and it's available the end of September.
