Bang & Olufsen's Helping Hand - designer drug taking

helping_hand_bo.jpg

Two things I didn't know about Bang & Olufsen: They have a secret division (secret, in that I don't know about it) which works on healthcare, and they can't help but make their medical gadgets look like one of their phones. This is the Helping Hand, which stores a blister pack of your medication and sends you an alert everytime you forget to take it. The LED shines green, yellow or red, depending on how many pills you've missed. This information then gets sent to your doctor, where they presumably have the option to prescribe you Magical Memory Tablets. Application to real life? Obviously the bane of all girl's life - The Pill. [Via Engadget]
