I really wish I had come across the iScorch - a clever video of a burning flame that iPod video users can use in place of the traditional raised lighter at rock concerts (there's also a photo option for those of us not sporting video iPods) - sooner. I don't carry a lighter (having given up smoking some time ago), but there are still some times I wish I had one at the ready. Such as being at a club and seeing someone perform the opening strains of Deep Purple's Smoke on the Water on Singing Saw. If that isn't cause for a raised lighter, I don't know what is.
Needless to say, I have added the iScorch to my Photo folder so I shall never be caught without this concert-going homage again.

What a brilliant idea. I remember being at a Janes Addiction concert, and when they played 'Jane Says', everyone held up their mobiles, pressing their finger on a button so the screen would light up. Ahh, memories.
