IFA, the big technology show, is on in Germany at the moment and Susi, along with a load of the Tech Digest team, is over there to grab as many of the best new stories as they can find. This Commodore (remember them, retro gaming fans?!) Gravel entertainment system is designed to provide you with "a
large variety of entertainment content - music, videos, games, favorite
radio and TV programs", accessed on demand via the Gravel devices. The range consists of a Commodore Gravel In
Pocket, a pocket-sized multimedia device with built-in Wi-Fi and support for all major file formats such as MP4, MPEG DivX and many others.
There's 1GB or 2GB internal flash memory, expandable by SD card
The Commodore Gravel In Home is a home entertainment centre which
provides access to Video On Demand, Replay TV and streaming music
services directly to your TV. It comes with an 80GB drive, with all
services accessed via the single jog remote control.
We're not really sure how well either will do since there's no content online as yet for anyone to check out. And no prices either.
