I am often surprised by some of the things manufactures are adding to mobiles these days to make them stand out from one another (Samsung's "Fatness Calculator" still holding my personal record for the most mind-boggling); but somehow a phone designed to support the needs of mobile users with Diabetes makes perfect sense.
Healthpia America's LG-KP8400 will not only help users measure and track their blood sugar and manage their caloric intake, but it can also track and transmit their health data, and facilitate communication between the user and their health care professional. Unfortunately, Healthpia's website doesn't speak to what the LG-KP8400 offers as far as phone features, but I imagine in this case the product's purpose is geared more towards communication that entertainment.
