Earmecca's EP series earphones are designed to be clipped on like earrings, providing you with music and jewellery all in one go. They come in 10 different versions, including star,
cross, heart, and pearl and gold or silver options are available. I'm currently experiencing the joint emotions of bewilderment and confusion, tinged with gentle ripple of excitement. Will we all be wearing these things in place of our usual danglies? Isn't the cable going to make it all look a bit strange? Doesn't that mean you'll have to take them off when you're done with listening to tunes? I just don't know. Someone tell me.

I'm not a girl, but aside from the strangeness of the cable what would worry me is sudden tugs on the cable - instead of a momentary loss of music, a sudden pouring of blood onto the shoulder.
Not pretty.
In some crazy future where such dinky items could be powered for many an hour, it'd be perfect.
I'm addicted to buying jewellery (seriously, I can't stop), but even I can't see these being a particularly good idea.
Not many girls wear clip-on earrings these days, so they'd need to take out their pierced earrings to listen to music; and as someone who's worn both pierced and clip-on earrings, the latter hurt like all buggery after about 30 minutes, and leave lovely, angry red indentations on your lobes.
So, although this isn't the official yay or nay of the week, I'm voting NAY on this invention.
to be perfectly honest, i must say that i always have a problem with keeping my earbuds in my ears...it might have something to do with how small my ears are..
i think these earrings would be perfect for someone like me who thinks that earbuds are uncomfortable, because of trying to keep them in and forcing them to stay and ultimately just hurting myself.
I think these would be a good solution to blocking all the sound out (as all earbuds should) as well as keeping the earbuds in.
I think they are pretty cute too, i dont think that the cable would be such a big deal to be honest.
If they ever succeed in making them wireless.. I MIGHT consider them. =)
