Cube World Series 2

Comments (1)

Cubeworld2I know I've mentioned Cube World before but I've just got my hands on Series 2 and as before I'm finding it a great distraction from doing anything productive. My description last time was a bit wanting so I'll go into more detail here. Each cube is inhabited by a pixellated stick man who has his own particular hobby such as music or sports and some even have pets. The little chap will entertain himself but, if you like, you can make him do things via the buttons on the front or even turn the cube over and over (it has motion sensors) until he is visibly sick.

However, the cubes come as a pack of two so when you attach the two together, they will interact...

The  magnets on each side of the cube enable the figures to interact with each other. In the past few minutes of observing my cubes, the two men have waved to each other, visited the others' cubes, had a punch up, gone home then played the drums until one threw his weights at the other and knocked him out. Marvellous!

You can connect up to sixteen cubes in any way so long as two sides are touching and let the fun begin. At a recent gadget show I saw a huge display of the cubes and saw an elephant (yes, really) cross the screen, bungee jumping, fetch the ball with a dog and more . Kids love them and they are small enough to hide in your desk drawer - a 2pack costs £19.95

I love these things. I saw them the other day at a Toy Exhibition and the guy had about 36 all connected. It was amazing!
