I'll say one thing for this drought - it's created a whole new industry of water-saving gadgets, as well as a candy-floss version of Blitz Spirit in the UK.
You'd be hard pushed to guess what this was if it one day turned up in your bathroom, but apparently the Bodyflik is going to refill the reservoirs one shower at a time. By running this over your post-shower body it will send 75% of the water back down the drain, to be recycled and used another day. It also says it can be used in the sauna to get the sweat off you - although be careful who you flick it over. It's only £4.95 for the normal version, and £3.95 for the smaller Sport version and since it promises you'll have to wash your towels less often as they get less wet, I proclaim it A Bit of a Bargain.

They make these for horses. Its called a "Sweat Scraper" to help dry the sweat off a horse when you take the saddle off.
I think I'll pass on the human version, thanks.
They used these in Ancient Greece, although obviously they were far less plastic and multi-coloured. They were called strigils and were used to scrape off scented oil after exercise. Fact.
