Mu-Bot robot. I mean headphones. I mean robot. Gah!

Mubot_1The analytical and aesthete parts of my brain are currently warring over the Mu-Bot.  The analytical bit has very sternly pointed out that the Sega Toys Mu-Bot appears to be no more than an anthropomorphic way to keep your DAP headphone wires from being tangled (in this case, by disguising the ear buds as retractable robot arms),  and, that being its only function, likely not worth $21.  Whereas the aesthete in me (or is it my inner 5 year-old girl?) can't stop making high-pitched squealing noises about how unbelievably cute it is.  It's a robot; which acts as headphones.  Squee!

Unfortunately for my inner five-year old, the analytical bit of my brain has pointed out that the Mu-Bot is apparently only being released in Japan for the present, so I'm not likely to get one anytime soon anyway.  (Which is probably lucky for my inner ear.  All that squeeing is a bit rough.)

I'm sqeeing right about with you, especially about how it looks just like Marvin the Paranoid Android from the Hitchhiker's movie. It's so cute!
