Brightwalk light up shoes for runners

Brightwalk_1Jogging is hardly elegant and not exactly safe at night when you have to contend with muggers who can see you and traffic that can't. Made from flexible, lightweight, stretch cloth, the shoe clings to the foot whilst piezo-electric sensors in the sole convert human energy into electricity as the shoe hits the ground which is then transmitted via internal conductors to electroluminscent polymers that light up.
