Haven't got a digital SLR yet? Go on, treat yourself. Apparently, Sony is confident it's first consumer SLR, the Alpha DSLR-A100, is going to appeal to ladies more than similar cameras from the likes of Nikon and Canon thanks to the Sony name. The 10.2mp camera will have 19 Sony lenses to choose from, and will be compatible with most of the former Konica-Minolta Maxxum mount lenses as well. It uses CompactFlash Type I/II and Microdrive media cards plus Memory Stick PRO and Memory Stick PRO Duo cards through a supplied adaptor.
It'll be out in July.
