iSplash Wireless Speaker and Transmitter is gleefully waterproof

Sr286_mi

They say the iSplash is for the shower, but frankly, I don't see why you wouldn't take it anywhere you'd take the Grundig PSW 5000 wireless speakers I mentioned the other day, including the pool and the beach.  Basically you have a ZipConnect™ dongle that you attach to your iPod, radio, or CD player if you're so anachronistic as to still own one, and this lets you broadcast directly to the iSplash speaker.  The main idea, though, is to let you integrate your iPod (or other MP3 player, but it does have cables specially designed for the iPod) into your existing stereo system.  Reusable tech - gotta like that.  $99.95 from Sharper Image.  (via Gizmos for Geeks)  [GT]
