CL Sound Machine
When it comes to retro-tech, I like my retro very retro. Specifically, I have a weakness for Victoriana, which is why I love the aesthetic of the CL Sound Machine from CucumberLab. I'm a little confused about it's purpose though.
I understand the bit where it's a multi-function music machine - able to play records, CDs, and MP3s - that makes sense given the design. What boggles my mind is the fact that the interior cabinet is meant for wine storage - up to 12 bottles. How do these two things go together? Were the Victorians notorious for hiding their liquor?

Music and wine goes well together! I guess the designer kept that in mind when designing this retro-machine. And, besides, its other features it has an iPod dock too in the wine-storage area which makes it an absolutely marvelous furniture for your bar-room.
