I've heard the phrase "put the pep in your step," but it never occurred to me to take caffeine directly through the legs. Palmers "Slim Fit 20" Caffeine Tights are imbued with caffeiene "micro capsules" which are activated by body heat. The "Slim Fit 20"s aren't promising to give the wearer any more energy or do away with that healthy dependence on your friendly neighborhood barista: rather it claims to improve skin elasticity, burn fat and tighten leg tissue. In fact, the additional info in the product description goes so far to say that if one wears the tights daily for 28 days, they can expect a "reduction in thigh measurement of up to 2cm." How long has science and fashion industry known that caffeine was natural fat burner? And here I've been, drinking it all these years when I should have been bathing in it. Or, apparently, wearing it.
The "Slim Fit 20" Caffeine Tights run £26.90 pack for a 3 pair. The site doesn't mention how long you can expect a single pair to be effective...but I can almost guarantee you shouldn't wash them in hot water. - [Star C. Foster]
