There are many irrational fears in this world. Hell, I even heard that the fear of buttons (koumpounophobia) is actually fairly common, and independently those who share the button phobia all seem to be particularly bothered by the little shiny white ones on shirts. And even more so if they're hanging from a thread or 'disembodied'.
Back on topic, another irrational fear (well, irrational to those who haven't experienced it, I suppose...) is that of alien abduction. So here we have a lovely engraved aluminium dog-tag with instructions for your return to Earth, as engraved on a gold plaque attached to the craft used in NASA's Pioneer 10 mission.
