I can remember 27 different pin codes for 27 different credit cards. I can remember how to spell Mississippi (see?). I can even remember where I hid the remote control. But ask me to do the same thing at the same time each day and I reach a complete mental block.
So this new birth control packaging could be the answer to prayers of women everywhere. It sets off an alarm each day, which is reset for another 24 hours when you take out a pill.
All you then need to do is not get distracted, and make sure you actually take the pill. And if that's likely to be a problem, there's no amount of technological innovations in the world to save you.

Amazing! after all the years that the pill has been around, why is that only out now? i want one!
Of course, you could just set an alarm ;) Although it took me circa 7 yrs of taking it at 21:00 every night to ingrain the fact that I need to take it in.
Thank God! This is exactly what I am looking for, because it is no use if my alarm is not directly next to the birth control! Does anyone know where I can get one?
It's designed by a guy called Ashley Spangler, but he's very elusive! However, I like nothing better than spending an afternoon "doing research" so I'll let you know if I manage to track him down!
Alternatively, try strapping an alarm clock to the existing packet!
Wow, this sounds like something I could use. But it would only be really useful if after 21 days it gets set to go off again in a weeks time. That's when I'm most prone to forget it.
Of course, it's not as if there are long-lasting methods of birth control that aren't affected by antibiotics or tummy upsets and which only have to be renewed every three to ten years.....
or patches which you only have to replace once a week....
oh wait, there are. Pity people don't use them. Particularly in the UK where it's all free!
So, how did you hear about this product? I've been looking and looking on the web and can't find anywhere to get it.
I first heard about this at gizmodo.com:

Doesn't seem like they are beinging sold to mainstream consumers yet. I can't even find out what the price might be for it.
pillpaks.com have similar products, but in different designs (for rectangular and circluar pill packs) for about 20 bucks. I don't think you can order on their website. Seems like it's a call in order only.
