As well as that dinky little palm-sized projector Tosh
has introduced a very fine looking DLP projector aimed at the home cinema market. Unlike most projectors, which need a bit of distance to create a big picture, the ET20 projector is designed to sit on your coffee table, allowing you to beam a 100-inch picture onto your wall from just 1.3m away. It also comes with a DVD player, USB slot for your memory sticks, and Dolby 5.1
surround sound system built in.
Expected to retail for £1299, this standard definition (480p) projector isn't exactly cheap, and when we saw it in action it was not the brightest machine on display, but it'll be easy and convenient for those who don't want to start attaching things to the ceiling or running cables all over the place. The ET10 is a cheaper version (£1099) that doesn't include a DVD player and Tosh is also planning to launch an High Definition version (720p) soon.
