Toilet Lid Sink
I appreciate the water-saving saavy shown by the toilet sink lid. With each flush of the loo, clean water first goes through the above toilet spigot for hand-washing, and is then sent along to finish the flushing process. I'm less sold on the space-saving aspect. Sure, it would work well enough in a powder room, and I'd have no issue using it to wash my hands (although I imagine the water would be a bit chilly). What I can't imagine is having it replace a full bathroom sink for everyday use. I don't believe that there is any amount of reminding that the water coming from the spigot is clean would render me able to use it to brush my teeth. -[Star C. Foster]

They have something similar to this in Japan.
There, they have a seperate 'toilet' room, and 'shower' room that houses the shower/tub & actual sink.
took some getting used to, I still kept wanting to cross the hall and wash my hands in the actual sink.

I'm living in Japan and I have one of these. It's actually my only sink besides the kitchen sink. The water is mighty cold, and I don't use it to brush my teeth (I usually do that in the shower).
