I've never had much luck with getting solar powered chargers to work (yes, yes, I know that "solar powered" and "english weather" are mutually exclusive), but since I'm a bit that way inclined, this is just the kind of thing I vigorously applaud. And if you want a bit more power than a little panel like this can provide, there are also larger panels available, providing 5, 10, 18 28, 43 and 60-watt outputs - enough to power your laptop or portable DVD player. You can use them for your in-car sat nav systems as well - or even hook them up to your house lamps if you want to get really eco-friendly.

I did not expect much when i bought my Portable Solar Panel Gadget Charger however it passed all expectations. It even works well under the poor light conditions in the UK! I should have bought one years ago!
