Smell-tones: Stilton - Must be Mum-in-Law...

So, not only can you assign certain ring-tones to certain people, thanks to Samsung you may soon be able to assign them certain smells. I daresay you'd be likely not to use noxious smells such as Stilton, instead opting to assign your boyfriend's nicest aftershave to him, or petunias to your mum.

In a board meeting, it might be preferable to hear a small "ffft" noise and then smell something pleasant instead of getting a loud "BZZZT" as it vibrates on the table, or a quieter "bzzt" and a suprising sensation from the handbag on your lap...

Thing is, seeing as our mobiles tend to live in handbags or pockets (however hard they try to make us wear them around our necks or wrists), opening your handbag for the first time during a busy day could assault your nose with a heavy dose of that well-known fragrance, Armani/choco/petunia/lemon/fresh-bread/cut-grass/vanilla. Interesting.
