I've been having a little go with the three new Nokia phones that make up the L'Amour Collection recently, so I thought you might all like a bit of a review. First up, the 7370, which I'm currently loving with an intensity bordering on the illegal. Full review after the turn.
This is the phone that, out of the three, comes properly loaded with features.
When it comes to features, the 7370 tops the trio of L'Amour phones, with the most well-rounded feature set. It may not have the 2-megapixel camera that the stickish 7380 can claim, but I've found the 1mp number on board the 7370 does the job very nicely - and quickly too. Not having to wait around for the shutter to release, or for the software to wake up makes this a very nice, easy camera to use.
The spinning style won't suit everyone, but Nokia has implemented it really well and I'm definitely converted to its charms. It's also got a great keyboard with loads of space and great speaker sound quality when you're making calls. Another reason why I was so loath to give up my SL55 was that it was one of the few phones that I could hear people on when out in noisy environs. A lot of new phones seem to just distort if you put them up too high, but the 7370 works a treat.
Don't buy this if you're looking for a music playing phone. It will play MP3s, but there's no proper software on board (so you'll have to play them from your media gallery). There is a radio if you need music, as well as a voice recorder should you suddenly think of a cure for cancer and have no pen to hand.
And now the downsides?
There's always got to be downsides, right? Sadly, the 7370 has two fatal flaws that might be too much for some people to forgive. The first is the tiny 10MB of memory on board. This means you'll be limited with photo storage, music storage (another reason why it's no good as a music player) and any other extras you want to load onto it. A memory card slot would have been much appreciated.
The other problem is the battery life. Just as the 6111 suffers from a measily battery life, the 7370 won't see you through a full day of use if you've been making any calls. Probably I've got used to better, because my feature-starved old SL55 would keep on trekking for days, but having only 3 hours of talktime sounds to me like some sort of joke.
Aside from that, I'm loving my 7370 and hardly even think about my old SL.. what was it again?

I too have had the SL55, but am reluctant to part with it because I can't find something I love as much. I thought that you might have turned me here, but GEEZ, girls:phone....come ON people, we want to TALK! Give us the battery life we crave, please? They probably missed the call while their phones recharged...
Yeah, the battery life is a real pain in the backside actually. Oh, and I forgot to say that the game is RUBBISH as well. But I'm sticking with it for now.

My mom and I did think about buying the 7370, but the salesperson told us that the swivel would not last long, so both of us ended up with the 7360, which does have a very long battery life (up to 3 days without charging; although the camera is crap). Nevertheless, I love mine and I love it even more that I have yet to come across another soul who has the same phone as I do.
