I'm brimfull of enthusiasm for this weather forecasting brolly from Ambient Devices. Shown off during CES last week, the
Forecasting Umbrella's handle lights up blue when there's a good chance of rain. Not only does this mean that its halo of light will remind you to take it out with you, it also means you can pretend to be Frodo with Sting when the Orcs are coming. Or maybe I should just keep thoughts like that to myself
Anyway, the brolly can connect to Ambient's network and pick up your local weather report so you'll never be caught short again. Except in Britain where weather forecasts are all about guess work and reading the entrails and where it's safer just to take a brolly out no matter how sunny it may look.
