If you think the afore-posted Loc8tor is a bit too expensive, shiny, or white for your liking, why not try this one on for size. It's half the price at $49.99, does the job, and even has a different tone for each colour so if you're really bad at losing things, you could write your own symphony.

I wouldn't like to lose the controller though. Or forget which colour your keys are on - or you might have run right around your house and garden and happily located your beeping dog, mobile, and glass of wine (hey, I'm trying to be imaginitive here) - only to realise your keys really did have the yellow tag after all and were in your extremely-large handbag all along.
