Yes, yes, we all know that straightening your hair is no longer trendy, and that the more natural look is in, but I for one will not be giving up my straighteners without a struggle. It takes seconds to tame my mane with straighteners, not half and hour spent blow drying each side like it used to. And for those girls still obsessed with hair that's been ironed to within an inch of its life (time to stop that one girls, even Zoe's not doing it anymore), having straighteners available at all times is presumably something of a concern. Thank goodness for The Straight Up Machine, then. It's a vending machine for ladies loos that lets you straighten your hair for £1 a pop. Because that's not going to end in seared flesh and tears is it? Stick a dangerous weapon in the bogs, throw in some squawking girls loaded up on alchopops and give them a hot iron. In what reality could this ever turn out well?
