BenQ really has surpassed itself with this FP93V LCD Monitor and gone for a completely new
"simple, refreshing, all-white polished exterior that is elegant in
design." Hmm, sounds familiar. I'm waiting for the day when all these white
products get yellowed by the sun - though I suppose we'll all have
bought the next fashion by then... textured beige?
Joking aside, there is good reason for this to be in the CES 'Girl's Best Friend' honourees list this year. It boasts an very fast 8ms response time, a 550:1 contrast ratio and 270 cd/m2 of brightness (not that I ever understood what that really meant), dual-inputs (D-sub and DVI), plus lots of handy features such as a cable tidy and a (gasp) flat stand which doubles as a trinket shelf. Yes, you read that right - it's in the features list, take a look! [Sara Wallen]
