Evesham Mini
Look familiar? Yes, the Evesham Mini looks eerily similar to the Apple Mac Mini, and has that same "palm of your hand" type appeal. The tiny PC runs Windows Media Centre Edition 2005, which (if you haven't seen it before) is more of an entertainment system - with music, TV and digital video - than a normal PC OS. Which is why it can be controlled by a remote. Described as a "living room PC" this minute unit could quite possibly transform your viewing habits. The standard model Evesham Mini costs £499 containing an Intel Celeron M Processor, 512MB RAM and a 40GB hard drive, there is also an optional wireless LAN which will cost an extra £50. For £699 you can upgrade to a Pentium M (using laptop processors seems to be all the rage right now since they run cooler and more efficiently) with an 80GB disk. Very nice looking piece of kit. But I suspect they may have learnt from a good teacher.
