Solar Torch...

As the lovely Adam over at the even lovelier Hippyshopper rightly observes "instinct will be telling you this is the eco equivalent of the inflatable dartboard." A Solar Torch may be a contradiction in terms, but that hasn't stopped the Centre for Alternative Energy creating it anyway. Presumably, you'll have to leave it somewhere sunny during the day (such as the Kalahari Desert) and then you can claim back eight hours of torchlife once the sun's set. Those of us in cloudier countries are probably best to stick with a wind-up torch, or we'll only be disappointed.
