Due to forces beyond my control I couldn't make the Samsung-B&O launch last night, so I can't tell you what this handset feels like in the flesh. But since it looks fairly odd in the photos, I'm guessing it's not much different in person. The compact, curvy clamshell is not exactly the piece of design genius I was expecting from a union between the two companies. Instead, the SGH-E910, is an odd-looking phone, with one of those impossible-to-use round keypads that these companies like toying with every now and then, and no external screen. Thing is, they could have got away with doing all sorts of crazy things to the design if only they'd made it pretty. But unless this feels substantially better than it looks, I'm giving the phone a "D-, must do better". There's a standard (VGA) camera hidden in ther somewhere, a large 2.1-inch screen, Bluetooth and a battery life quoted at just 2 hours (2 HOURS!) talk time. What, now they think rich people don't talk as much as the rest of us?
