So, phone companies aren’t bringing out "ranges" anymore, they’re bringing out "collections" – at least, that’s what Nokia’s calling its latest batch of fashion handsets. The L’Amour Collection* press release is all written in fashion speak, and since I’m not fully fluent I probably should have got Gemma to write this one up, but I’ll soldier on anyway. First up is the 7380 ("A reflection of discerning taste"), which has an etched mirrored surface and a keyless dial, as well as some decent features like the 2-megapixel camera and MP3 player. Next comes the 7370 with a swivel design, with yet more etched metal and a leather-style faceplate. The camera is 1.3 megapixels this time, which is still great for a fashion phone, and there’s a choice of two colours – coffee brown and warm amber.
And finally we have the 7360, the most basic of the lot with a standard camera and those coffee brown and warm amber colour options.
Nokia 7380 will be around €500, the Nokia 7370 will be about €300 and the 7360 will be approx €200. They’ll all be out in the new year.
*Yes, I know that "L’" means "the" so I don’t need the other "the", but it looked ridiculous.
