The latest thing in the TV world seems to be to try to hide the thing so that it's not the constant focal point. That certainly seems to be the case with the LG Fridge TV, the TV Fireplace, and the Mirror that turns into a TV. Now Philips has got in on the act with this MiraVision television which is designed to look and reflect like a mirror when it's not in use. It works like any standard TV except that when you've finished admiring Hugh Laurie's American accent in House, you can admire yourself instead. You can choose from a selection of frames to fit in with your decor, which should certainly give my hulking great grey idiotbox pause for thought. The 30-inch TV is out now for around £2700.
