Pet Phone Remote Food Dispenser

Want a pet but can't quite be bothered to be there to feed it every day? I thought that's what friends and neighbours were for, but if you haven't got either of those, you'll be needing one of these Pet Phone Remote food dispensers instead. Press a few buttons on your mobile and the dispenser will drop food into the dish below. You can also communicate with Fido/Felix via the speaker/microphone combo, though how that all happens is a mystery to me. Can it really be true that we are now evolved enough to be able to make phone-calls to our pet's food dishes? And, perhaps more pertinently, are our pets evolved enough to reply? If so, my cat will probably put me through to the answer-phone any time I tried to make contact.
