Nokia's Xpressmusic phone

Motorola's got its ROKR iTunes phone; Sony Ericsson has its Walkman phones; now Nokia's announced a new range of Xpressmusic phones (looks like their N91 didn't get an invite). First phone in the new line is the 3250, "a music phone with a twist." Twist the keypad round 180 degrees and you'll find the music player control keys, twist it back and you can use it like a normal phone again, twist it 90 degrees and you'll activate the camera - very neat idea indeed.The swivelling handset can hold up to 750 tunes (1GB of memory - twice that of the ROKR) and also comes with a rather impressive 2-mp camera as well as smartphone capabilities so you can use it to run your life.

The screen is one of the bright new 262k colour ones, there's Bluetooth on board which you can use to share music, and there's also an FM radio. Price is expected to be €350 SIM-free, but it will be a lot less than that once all the networks start making their special offers. It supports MP3, WMA, M4A and AAC file formats and you just (thank god) drag and drop music straight onto the player from your computer. Apparently, it will play for 10 hours before needing a recharge. Far more interesting design-wise than the ROKR.
