Some of you may have noticed that oft-maligned copper colour returning to the shops of late. What's more horrifying is that I actually found myself admiring a copper, silver and gold bracelet the other day, which suggests that once again the fashion industry has managed to crowbar its latest style atrocity into my brain against my will. Still, it's there now, and so when I saw this VS2 from Panasonic I inevitably felt my bladder control weakening as my excitement levels rose. The silver and copper phone has a very impressive 1.3 megapixel camera and a super bright 2.2-inch screen, making it far better specified than other fashiony handsets out there, plus it opens at the touch of a button, and comes with 32MB of storage space. There's no Bluetooth, but it does have infrared and USB connection so you'll be able to take your photos off it. Finally (and here my voice rises to a screech of excitement), it comes with Sonic The Hedgehog on it so you'll be able to re-live the heady days of the Sega MegaDrive. It's available now through Vodafone pay as you talk, Tesco and Comet, costing around £99.
